Smiles all round as young couple wins Homeworld dream kitchen

The Homeworld showroom was buzzing with excitement earlier this month as our fabulous Win a £10,000 Kitchen competition came to a spectacular conclusion with a nail-biting prize draw.

The competition kicked off back in May and the response from readers was fantastic, with hundreds and hundreds of entries pouring in.

It’s fair to say the competition has been one of the most popular ever featured in the News and Chronicle - and no wonder, it’s not every day you get the chance to win a stunning £10,000 kitchen from one of the country’s leading kitchen specialists.

As the prize draw got underway at Homeworld’s Kirkintilloch showroom the atmosphere really was electric as each of the five finalists came forward to select a mystery prize envelope.

Then, on the count of three, they all opened their envelopes at the same time. The suspense was overwhelming.

The good news was that no-one went away empty handed. However, only one finalist could win the star prize - a fabulous Homeworld kitchen.

And the lucky winners were Natalie and Nick Masterson, from Falkirk.

“When we were told we were in the final we didn’t build up our hopes and never thought we could be so lucky.”

Natalie added: “We moved into our house in Falkirk two years ago and we really wanted to get a new kitchen. It’s so exciting”
