Creative Stitches and Hobbycrafts will be returning to the SECC, Glasgow from March 7 to 10 with everything from knitting, jewellery making and papercraft to cardmaking, sewing and quilting, this is the perfect place to find the very latest products, ideas and innovations from hundreds of exhibitors.

Be transported to a bygone era with a selection of stunning costumes from some of the most famous television and film adaptations of Jane Austen’s beloved novels.

If you’ve got excited by the ‘Make do and Mend’ and customisation trend but don’t know where to start or you just need a confidence boost with sewing, then make sure you visit the fantastic sewing hub.

Dressmaking experts will be on hand in the sewing machine clinic offering top tips and practical hands-on workshops focusing on basic sewing techniques.

With this new found confidence make sure you go to the dressmakers’ pattern bar where you will find all the latest patterns from some of the most well known brands including Butterick, McCalls, Simplicity, Style and Vogue.
