Win a tasty dinner for four

The popular local bar and restaurant, located in South Muirhead Road, offers the great taste of freshly prepared food, chargrilled to perfection.

At a restaurant called Beefeater you’d expect top notch steaks - and you’d be right. Seared on the outside and succulent in the middle, with seasonings for extra flavour, they aim to make yout steak the best you’ve ever had. Choose your cut and tell them how you want it.

They also cater for every special occasion from family get-togethers to birthdays, and additionally run various fun events themselves. From 9am until 3pm on Sunday, April 28, for example, there will be a car boot sale in support of Strathcarron Hospice. Pitches can be booked from Duncan, Anna or Mary at the Dovecote and cost £10 per car which will be donated to the hospice. Volunteers from Strathcarron will also be manning their own stall at the sale and will welcome any items people donate for them to sell. There will also be fun and games for the kids on the day, so come along and have fun while hunting for bargains.

The Beefeater is also a great place just to relax even if you’re not looking for a meal. With free WiFi available alongside Costa Coffee, you can drop in and read e-books or browse the internet on your laptop.
