Win tickets to see Evita

FOLMER Wet Wet Wet frontman Marti Pellow is starring in the stage musical Evita at the King’s Theatre, Glasgow, in June.

Marti will perform the role of Che in this much-loved musical, which was created by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber.

The story of Eva Peron, wife of former Argentinian dictator Juan Peron, the play follows Eva from her humble origins to wealth, power and status, when she becomes regarded as the spiritual leader of the nation.

With more than 20 major awards to its name, including an Oscar for the well-known film starring Madonna and Antonio Banderas, Evita features unforgettable songs likes Don’t Cry For Me Argentina and On This Night of a Thousand Stars.
