Is this the nation’s most rugby-mad pub? You can now watch the Six Nations in a RUGBY BALL PIT…and it comes with free beer!

A Twickenham pub has launched the ultimate rugby viewing experience ahead of the Six Nations – a 12-foot ball pit filled with RUGBY BALLS.

The George in Twickenham has installed the UK’s first ‘Rugby Ball Pit’ to kick off the first game of the Six Nations this weekend between Wales and Italy – and will be inviting die-hard rugby fans to come and watch the match whilst submerged in THOUSANDS of rugby balls.

Punters will get the chance to dive headfirst into the tournament with exclusive screenings of the games from the comfort of the Rugby Ball Pit, and receive two free Greene King IPA during England matches.

The ultimate rugby viewing experience has been launched at The George to celebrate over 900 Greene King pubs screening the Six Nations.

The wacky installation is open to guests now, but they’ll have to be quick to check it out – as spaces are expected to fill up quickly on match days. To book a slot, visit the Greene King website: https://www.greeneking-pubs.co.uk/pubs/middlesex/george/rugby-ball-pit/.

Chris Conchie, head of sport at Greene King, the UK’s leading pub company and brewer, said: “Everyone loves the atmosphere of watching sport in the pub – there’s nothing better than getting together with mates and enjoying the game.

“To celebrate the Six Nations, we wanted to create the ultimate viewing experience for rugby fans by launching the first ever Rugby Ball Pit. It’s the perfect place to dive in, throw around a few rugby balls, and enjoy a pint of IPA whilst catching up on the latest games.

“If you fancy giving it a ‘try’ for yourself, why not ‘scrum’ down to The George this weekend and experience the most fun rugby screening you’ll ever experience. We guarantee you’ll have a ball!”

The Rugby Ball Pit is open to punters for the next two weeks, so rugby fans will need to be quick if they want to check it out for themselves.
