CALLS are being made for a town centre pot hole to be fixed before a car is damaged.
The pot hole, several feet wide, is situated outside St Mungo’s Church, close to the junction of St Mungo’s Road and has got worse since a piece of metal covering it was taken away.
One driver who almost fell victim to the pot hole is surprised nothing has been done about it.
Rita Hutson, of Ferguson Road, said: “I only have a wee Honda Jazz but it got stuck in it when I was trying to leave the car park.
“The pot hole has been there for the last couple of years but I think it has got worse recently.
“I am surprised more people have not reported it but maybe it is because they have come up against a brick wall.”
