A new addition to art gallery
Bearsden artist Carolanne McNair has presented Jimmy Watson of the Friends of Thomas Muir a painting she did to commemorate the end of the Thomas Muir 250th anniversary celebrations.
Carolanne gifted the painting at Huntershill Coffee Shop, where it has been added to a gallery of pictures by East Dunbartonshire residents - young and old.
Jimmy said: “This was a wonderful gesture from Carolanne and it now has pride of place in the gallery at the coffee shop. This has been a fantastic year and I hope no-one is in doubt about the importance of Thomas Muir, local hero and the Father of Scottish Democracy.”
