African Children’s Choir are a hit in Carstairs

Over 300 people packed into Carstairs Church to enjoy an evening of music and dance from the highly acclaimed African Children’s Choir.

The choir, made up of 20 children from Uganda, sang for almost two hours and included their number one hit single Sing which was written by Gary Barlow.

Christine Lothian, who organised the concert said: “It has been a huge success and we have raised over £3000 for the work of the African Children’s Choir.”
