Alanna in vote appeal

ASPIRING model Alanna Paterson hopes local people will back her bid to win a national beauty pageant.

The 18-year-old is competing in the Teen Queen UK pageant - but she needs your vote to reach the finals.

Said Alanna: “This came about while I was at a dance convention in London and Miss Teen UK invited me to take part. I went for a photoshoot a couple of weeks ago, and it was a lot of fun.”

Alanna is studying dance at Edinburgh Telford College and has past modelling experience, two things she feels give her an edge over the competition.

Mum Gail added: “I’m really proud of Alanna. She’s very committed and her dance skills are well suited to modelling, as she knows how to move gracefully.”
