American seeks out roots in Cumbernauld
An American has got in touch with the Cumbernauld News in the hope of tracing relations in the town.
Jim Paterson from Colorado is looking for the husband and children of his cousin Wilma Paterson Fletcher who passed away in 2003.
They are William Fletcher who was known to be a civil engineer plus his son and daughter Alan and Elaine. Jim also points out that their grandfather was Peter Paterson who died in Africa in 1945. He said: “I have been looking for them for quite some time without success.’’
