Booze stolen from Village shop

Hat Trix in the village was targeted by the thieves who damaged the roller shutter and removed a window before entering the premises.

Meanwhile, a house was broken into on Burns Road, Cumbernauld, sometime between 6am and 5.45pm the same day.

Police say they believe locks were forced before thieves entered.

They then rummaged through drawers but they made off with an aluminium boiler.
