Busby kids sport trainers to support Games
BUSBY Primary kids are ready and raring for the Commonwealth Games following a visit from two of Scotland’s hockey stars.
The school took part in a national Sport Your Trainers day last week, with pupils and teachers alike donning their running shoes in support of Glasgow 2014.
Special guests for the day were Scottish Hockey’s Alison Howie and Maisie Morris, who ran a mini hockey session with the P6 and P7 youngsters.
The sports stars then answered questions from the entire school on how much they’re looking forward to the upcoming Games.
