Cafe Refresh in Kilsyth wins award
STAFF at a popular Kilsyth eaterie had reason to celebrate recently when their food was judged worthy of an award.
Cafe Refresh, Main Street, was named as the overall winner in the light-lunch category in the Paperclip Gourmet Awards for restaurants and cafes within four miles of Kilsyth.
Manager, Mairi Lindsay, said: “We only knew about it when we were told we won, we weren’t told we were being judged. To win against the likes of the Glenskirlie made us smile.”
