Calling for dog lovers for Dainty appeal
Giffnock woman Mhairi Mckean is calling all dog lovers to help her rescue pooch Dainty.
Mhairi rehomed the Staffie in 2012, after she had been rescued from a domestic abuse household. But Dainty suffers from a rare auto-immune condition called GME, and her owner’s pet insurance has run out as a result of rocketing vet bills.
Mhairi told The Extra: “Treatment is expensive and we are finding it increasingly difficult to cover the costs. If you feel you could help in any way, even the smallest of donations, if would be very much appreciated.”
