Care home earmarked for closure
Ochilview Nursing Home is to stop admitting new residents.
North Lanarkshire Council earmarked the facility for closure after it was found to be falling short of the Care Commission's required standards.
NLC promotes home-based care as it says that is what the majority want. Last year, Burngreen Lodge in Kilsyth closed completely eight months after stopping admissions.
