Chance to see birds migrating

THE SCOTTISH Wildlife Trust are organising a day out to Caerlaverock Wetland Centre near Dumfries – where over 25,000 ducks and geese will migrate for winter – from Cumbernauld.

The event’s set to take place on Sunday, November 20 and visitors will see many birds migrating to their only winter feeding destination in Britain.

Park Rangers will be on hand to provide their expertise, making this an excellent opportunity for photographers, as well as a unique experience for anyone interested in wildlife. The coach will leave from Cumbernauld Town Centre at 9am and the cost is £26 for adults and £15 for under-16s.
