Condorrat bowling clubs stage gala for a good cause

MEMBERS of the four area bowling clubs in Cumbernauld gathered at the weekend to take part in their annual charity gala day.

Despite the appalling weather which conspired to flood the green in the early morning, and eventually halt play in the afternoon, 96 players joined in the action at Condorrat Bowling Club and members of the community also turned out to take part in the fun.

The clubs will announce their fundraising total at the cheque presentation night next month.
