Council launches stress-busting sessions for exam pupils

A new fitness initiative has given pupils the opportunity to prove the old adage that a healthy body breeds a healthy mind.

Final exams at secondary school can be a stressful time but fifth and sixth year pupils on study leave have been granted access to free all-inclusive health and fitness memberships at leisure centres across North Lanarkshire.

Senior pupils will be able to utilise unlimited use of gyms, swimming pools, health suites, fitness classes and weight loss clubs until May 31.
