Council lights switch-on
CUMBERNAULD will cast a radiant glow of Christmas cheer as of this evening when the Christmas lights are switched on in the town.
North Lanarkshire Council’s Christmas decorations have been hung up around the town centre roads and streets over the past several weeks and the lights are set to be switched on tonight (Monday).
This precedes the kick-off to Cumbernauld Town Centre’s own Christmas lights switch on which takes place this Saturday, November 19 from 1pm with a host of entertaining acts wowing the crowds in the shopping centre.
