£100k cannabis haul in Abronhill drugs raid

At around 5.30pm, officers recovered around 160,000 cannabis plants with an estimated value of £98,000.

A man has been arrested and detained in police custody in connection with these offences,

Inspector Phil Rose from Cumbernauld Police Office said: “Drugs can have a devastating impact on communities and the support of local people is essential to helping officers target offenders.

“I would continue to ask members of the Cumbernauld community, who have any information about the supply of controlled drugs or other suspicious activity, to contact officers via 101.”
