Arrest made after drugs discovery in Motherwell home
Police have confirmed that a 41-year-old male has been arrested in relation to drug offences, following a search of a Motherwell home at the weekend.
Officers in possession of a search warrant turned up at an address in the town’s Kylemore Crescent at 8am on Saturday, December 12.
A thorough search of the property was conducted and officers have now stated that a quantity of white powder believed to be controlled drugs was found on the premises. The officers also came across what was described as “alleged drugs paraphernalia’’ - and made their arrest.
A report on this incident has been sent to the fiscal.
