Car attacked in Abronhill - causing occupants to flee

Police are on the hunt for four males who caused extensive damage to the body work of a car with weapons in Abronhill - prompting the occupants of the vehicle to flee in terror.

The incident unfolded around 9pm on Sunday (February 21) night after a red Volkswagen Golf was targeted in Abronhill's Moss Road - and had its windows smashed before its paintwork was struck.

Police believe that the incident may have started in nearby Almond Road before it escalated - and that the males escaped in a grey car which, by coincidence was also a Volkswagen Golf.

The vehicle was later found abandoned. Those who escaped from the car were later found safe and well.
