Co-op armed robber is apprehended by police.

A 36 year old man has been arrested and detained in police custody in connection with a series of alleged armed robberies in the Busby and Clarkston area.

The first incident occurred around 6am on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Drumby Service Station, Eastwoodmains Road, Clarkston.

The second incident occurred around 4.40pm on Thursday of last week, (March 9) at the Co-op store on Eaglesham Road in Clarkston, while the third incident also occurred on Thursday, March 9 on Main Street, Busby.

The unnamed man is expected to appear at court in the next day or so.
