Cumbernauld police hunt stolen quad bike

A child’s quad bike was stolen from a garage in Moodiesburn.

The incident happened in the area’s Edington Gardens sometime between 8.30pm on Tuesday, August 27, and 8am on Thursday, August 29. Police say the owner went to his garden in the morning to find that the yellow Suzuki quad had been removed from the garage.

Meanwhile, a silver/orange scrambler bike was stolen from a shed at a home on Glencairn Road, Chryston. 
The owner looked out of her window at around 8am on Thursday, August 29 to see her shed door lying open. 
She later discovered that the bike had been stolen.
