Luxury Audi and Seat stolen from Smithstone

Police have confirmed that thieves made off with two cars on Wednesday December 7 after a break-in at an estate in Smithstone

The incident happened in Mosswater Wynd between 1.30am and 6.30am on Wednesday - after the thieves managed to get access to the house.

They found two sets of car keys - then bolted out of the premises to start up the cars.

Officers confirmed that a £50,000 black Audi A7 was driven away.

The other car was a white Seat FR. Neither of these cars have been recovered.

Meanwhile in a separate development, it’s emerged that another white Transit van was stolen from Abronhill overnight on Tuesday.

The van was taken from Hawthorn Road - on the same night an identical van disappeared from Spruce Road.
