An 18-year-old man is expected to appear in court tomorrow in connection with an alleged stabbing in Cumbernauld.
Police say a 24-year-old man was seriously injured in North Carbrain last night.
A spokeswoman told Cumbernauld News: “At around 7.10pm yesterday, police received a report of a 24-year-old man having been seriously assaulted in Glenacre Road, Cumbernauld.
“He was taken to Monklands General Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
“An 18-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.”
