Pair arrested in Croy after “substantial” drugs discovery

Police confirmed that they discovered a “significant” amount of drugs when they had reason to stop a car in Croy on Friday, September 11.

Officers halted the vahicle at around 9pm in Constarry Road.

And it has emerged that they detained two males who are 22-years-old and 20 -years-old under the misuse of drugs act.

At this point they were searched and the hunt was extended to within the car.

It was at this point that a cargo of cannabis was discovered inside the vehicle.

And the susbstance recovered has an estimated street value of between £1500 and £2000.

Both males -who are not from Croy- were arrested and held in custody charged with possession with intent to supply a controlled drug.
