£15k drugs bust in Condorrat

A 38-year old-man has been arrested in Condorrat following a drugs-related incident on Wednesday, April 14, Cumbernauld Police have confirmed.

Community officers had turned up during the evening at two properties with a drugs search warrant.

Both of the homes which fell under scrutiny were in the village’s Main Road.

Following both these searches, the man was arrested.

The accused has now been charged with the supply of controlled Class B drugs.

Officers have also confirmed that the drugs which were seized in both raids have a combined street value of £15,000 in total.

A report on this incident has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal in Airdrie.
