Weekend crime update after incidents in Kilsyth and Cumbernauld Village
A burglar was caught red-handed when trying to plunder a house in Kilsyth
a black mask covering the lower half of his face. He then legged it empty handed. Police are keen to hear from anyone who may have information on this man to contact them on 101 quoting crime number NC01611020. Meanwhile police are investigating two Cumbernauld Village car-break ins in overnight on Sunday. One took place in a Bluebell Walk driveway around 3am and the second took place in Main Street where the car’s rear window was smashed and items were taken.
