Woman (36) attacks man with a bottle in Kilsyth home

Police have confirmed that an arrest has been made in relation to a serious assault in Kilsyth on Saturday, July 25.

It is alleged that a 61-year-old male was struck on the head with a glass bottle after a disupute broke out in a house in the town’s Manse Road during the evening.

The man required hospital treatment and offficers say that a 36-year-old female was arrested.

Police are also seeking witnesses for an attempted break -in in Kilsyth yesterday morning (July 27)

A large man in a grey hoodie was seen trying to force entry to a property in Backbrae Street around 8.30am - but he was not successful.
