Youngsters from Isobel Mair, Eastwood, Mearns Castle, St Luke’s, St Ninian’s and Williamwood high schools have been attending the Glasgow Clyde College-run course, Crookfur Style Academy, as part of the East Renfrewshire Vocational Programme.

The project involves a monthly beauty clinic run for East Ren’s elderly residents, through Voluntary Action’s Seniors Together scheme.

Development worker Shirley Ashe said: “Our ladies have had a fabulous time. Well done to all the pupils.”
