Crookfur Style Academy is a big success
Beauty school holds no problems for these pupils, as shown by their happy customers.
Youngsters from Isobel Mair, Eastwood, Mearns Castle, St Luke’s, St Ninian’s and Williamwood high schools have been attending the Glasgow Clyde College-run course, Crookfur Style Academy, as part of the East Renfrewshire Vocational Programme.
The project involves a monthly beauty clinic run for East Ren’s elderly residents, through Voluntary Action’s Seniors Together scheme.
Development worker Shirley Ashe said: “Our ladies have had a fabulous time. Well done to all the pupils.”
