Cumbernauld and Kilsyth schools celebrate Burns

Pupils at St Patrick’s Primary School in Kilsyth had a thirst to learn about all things Scottish.

The school pulled out all the stops in the lead up to Burns Day by holding a Scottish week.

Each class looked at Scotland in different areas such as art, drama, music and language.

They also learned about Scottish cooking and butcher Paul Conway prepared a haggis for the children.

The week ended with a special show where the kids got to show off what they learned.
