Cumbernauld to feature on radio show
A MAJOR part of Cumbernauld's history will feature on a BBC Radio Scotland documentary to be broadcast next Monday as part of the Past Lives series.
The show was recorded in historic Cumbernauld Glen, with the emphasis falling on points of interest such as the site of the former Cumbernauld Castle and the archaeological treasures found therein.
Cumbernauld House will also be up for discussion on the programme that will include an interview with local historian John Kirkhope.
Past Lives will be broadcast on FM 92.4-94.7 at 11.30am.
