Cumbernauld man in compensation call over building work noise

A CUMBERNAULD man is demanding compensation after suffering months of noise pollution from a nearby building site.

Thomas Connor is one of many residents in the Carbrain area whose homes surround the City Building construction site based at Beechwood Court.

Work began on the site earlier this year to create more than 70 homes for housing company Sanctuary.

However, tax worker Thomas has had enough of what he calls the “constant barrage of noise” from the site and is demanding compensation.
