We’re committed to ensuring that the people of Cumbernauld, including those living in the area to the north of the M80, receive high quality local health services. We’ll work closely with North Lanarkshire Council to review the implications of the proposed housing development to ensure we plan services to take into account population changes in Cumbernauld. Working with with surgeries in the town, we’ll ensure everyone in Cumbernauld continues to have has the opportunity to register with a local GP practice. And we’ll continue to develop local health services that build on previous improvements in premises and community health staff to ensure we best meet current and any future health care population needs.
