Cumbernauld tournament helps hospices

The organiser of a local charity football tournament handed over the proceeds this week.

John Bleasdale, who staged a tournament at Broadwood Stadium, presented Samantha Reilly of the Children’s Hospice Association Scotland (pictured left) and Rosaleen McKenna from St Andrew’s Hospice with £930 each.

John has been holding football tournaments in Cumbernauld for the past six years and the 2014 event was the biggest yet.
