Being a professional singer with her own company, Leona Marie Entertainments, she also shared her vocal talents with her guests on the evening as an extension of what she so ably does at wedding and tribute nights!

Leona admitted: “I would say I am a better hostess than a cook!”

When pressed for the outcome of the show which sees one lucky competitor walk away with £1000, Leona told us she cannot give anything away as she has been sworn to secrecy.

“I really enjoyed it and I got to meet people that I wouldn’t ordinarily have met. It was a lot of fun.’’

The show itself has become a cult favourite and has also made a star out of caustic-tongued Dave Lamb who provides off-camera asides to the action in the kitchen and dining table alike!
