Cumbernauld’s Arria features in tourist guide

CUMBERNAULD has received an unexpected tourist boost – after a much-discussed new landmark was featured in a touring guide for art lovers.

The landmark in question is Arria, the handiwork of international public artist Andy Scott.

The Glasgow-based sculptor has produced a number of statues not unlike Arria in the so-called Wee County, which boasts the highest concentration of his work in the world.
