Cumbernauld's Jack brews up charity cash after Macmillan fundraiser
We think we may have found Cumbernauld's youngest fundraiser for the popular Macmillan coffee morning event - Jack Bennett who is just seven-years-old.
The St Margaret of Scotland Primary pupil has raised more than £385 after hosting his own charity bash in his Wallbrae Road home.
Mum Leigh said: “Everyone has been incredibly supportive and when he set himself a target of £70 we wanted to make sure he hit it. So we set up a Just Giving page and within two weeks he had 200 per cent of his target!
“Both his dad Stevie and myself are so proud of him!’’
