Many of our readers joined the search for Gucci and bombarded the lady who reported her missing with goodwill messages.
However, police have revealed that Gucci has not been returned to the lady in question, amidst an ownership wrangle.
The matter is further complicated by the fact that a number of alleged dognappings have been reported locally.

“Enquiries have revealed that the dog is the subject of disrupted ownership.
“As such it would be innapropriate to comment further.
