Drugs arrest in Cumbernauld

AN UPMARKET area of Cumbernauld was the scene of a drugs arrest.

Last Wednesday evening police stopped a vehicle in St Andrew’s Drive, Westerwood.

Officers seized over three kilogrammes of diamorphine and arrested the driver, a 41-year-old man from Cumbernauld.A report has gone to the procurator fiscal.
