From the editor’s chair

I wouldn’t have been the the only parent anxiously awaiting exam results this week.

I’m fairly certain that when it was my own turn I was much more relaxed, based no doubt on having a fairly good idea of how I had done, for good or for bad.

However, waiting for my teen’s results this week has been a mini agony. She was unsure of what the results would be, and her anxieties fed back to me.

I tried, of course, to hide that, but I know for a fact I woke up before her on Tuesday morning, anxious for the email (again, not in my day) to tell us the news.

Thankfully she passed and I can relax. Until it is prelim time again and I have to become the study nag!
