Boost for Croy and Cumbernauld commuters alike

A half-hourly rail service between Cumbernauld and Edinburgh is to be introduced and could be up and running by December.

The new service introduced by Transport Scotland -partially to ease pressure on Croy Station where two sizeable car parks exceed capacity every day.

This has led to commuters parking in neighbouring streets in Croy, causing widespread traffic problems.
