Cumbernauld forum tackles fracking.

Residents with strong views on fracking are being invited to the next meeting of Cumbernauld Community Forum on Tuesday, April 11 at 7pm.

The meeting which will be held at the Muirfield Centre will feature a power point presentation on the subject from two anti-fracking activists.

Members will also provide a progress report on the big organisational operation that is Cumbernauld Gala Day, which is scheduled for Saturday, July 17.

Other topics on the agenda will be universal credit and a talk will be given by Yolanda Loudon from the Department of Works and Pensions.

The subject of Monklands Hospital will also come under discussion
