Householders who want rid of their real Christmas trees can get help from a special uplift service offered by North Lanarkshire Council
And unlike the normal service offered by the authority it won’t cost you penny.
Uplifts are continuing this month - as staff cut down on waste by taking away festive firs of all shapes and sizes.
