Kelvin Valley display launched

KILSYTH Library is hosting an exhibition on the Kelvin Valley.

It covers attractions and activities including cycling, boating, walking and wildlife watching. The displayfeatures the Valley’s colourful history, from the Romans to the present day, including mining, canal building, and medieval battles.

The exhibition coincides with the completion of a network of green footpath signs throughout the valley put up by Friends of the Kelvin valley Park.

Copies of the Friends’ leaflets on paths, wildlife, history, activities and ‘Walkers are Welcome’ can be picked up at the exhibition.
