New Kid in town thrills Cumbernauld dancers
Talented movers at Dance Vibez fell into step with one of the stars of the American hip hop scene, self-taught dancer and choreographer Kiba Perez or Kid Kiba.
The Brooklyn-born Los Angeles-based supremo was guest teacher at a recent session at the Carbrain-based dance studio and that’s a day that his pupils won’t forget in a hurry.
Kim Gilroy from Dance Vibez said: “It was great to be able to bring the opportunity to our dancers.
“Kid Kiba brought us a different style and way of teaching so pushed their boundaries but he was so impressed with their work ethic and energy. The kids were so inspired.”
