Festive spirit was alive and well last month when the children at Carbrain Primary held a special Christmas Fayre.
Pupils, staff (retired and present) parents and community members gathered to help organise the event which raised money for an African schoolchild whose education is sponsored by the school. Head teacher Mrs Norah McLellan said: “We were all delighted to be able to hold our Christmas Fayre.
“A huge and special thank you goes to all those who helped, especially Miss Lambert, our P6 class and Mr Watson and all our pupils who showed so much enterprise.”
The grand total raised by the school was £857 and Mrs McLellan thanked all involved for their efforts.
