Feast of ideas at media breakfast

LANARKSHIRE companies are being encouraged to attend a breakfast briefing to find out how Facebook pages can have a positive impact on business.

The Lanarkshire New Media Breakfast will take place in the Lanarkshire Business and Conference Centre in Cumbernauld College on Thursday, February 21, at 7.30am for 8am start.

The seminar will be presented by Glasgow digital marketing agency, Fatbuzz, and will explore the various ways companies can take advantage of Facebook to promote its business and engage with customers.

Gordon White, managing director at Fatbuzz, will host the New Media Breakfast.

He said: “I am really looking forward to this event which will focus on how to use Facebook as an effective marketing tool for business.

“Facebook has made a number of changes in the last year so it’s a great opportunity for businesses to explore how to take advantage of the new features.

“The seminar will look at new features such as promoted posts, sponsored stories and graph search, as well as branding, iFrame pages and advertising.
