Firm chooses Cumbernauld as haulage hub centre

A LAUNCH held today by Transport Minister Keith Brown has officially made Cumbernauld a timesaving and cost effective stopping-off point for the haulage industry.

Palletline, which is based at Blairlinn, can now offer businesses a 24-hour hub which promises to deliver a faster and more convenient service to businesses in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland.

It’s estimated that the new hub will save several million road miles per year, as Cumbernauld proves again that it can continue to attract investors despite the recession.
